Tuesday 3rd January sees the launch of the new breakfast show hosted by John Peters, the voice of the East Midlands.  A distinguished professional, John Peters will provide the flagship show to anchor the new line-up from 7:00am each weekday morning.  Having launched Radio Trent in July 1975 and formerly worked for Gem, Century, Saga and the Lincs FM group, there can be no doubt that John will ensure that listeners in Grantham and the surrounding villages will be entertained and have all the information they need to start their mornings.

Head of Broadcasting, Willie Mac, said "Having John Peters join the weekday team is a real coup for Grantham and listeners can look forward to a breakfast show of the highest quality."  The Company Directors are ecstatic at having secured the services of such a well known radio professional in this role and believe it reflects the rapidly growing reputation of the station.

The new schedule also sees the return of Andy McCall with the hit show Gravity Gold playing your favourite hits from the 60's, 70's, 80's and 90's from 9:00am Monday to Friday.  Weekends start with our very own Ross Garrigan from 7:00am each Saturday and Paul Martin from 7:00am Sunday whilst also retaining your favourites from our current schedule.  Many other shows are being reformatted and updated during January with a number of new presenters joining the team.
