Helen Anderson

Just like all organisations in the voluntary sector, Gravity FM requires a lot of administrative support.  Ranging from maintaining company records to preparing funding bids, there is always plenty to keep our volunteers busy.

Helen is part of the management team, and dips her hand in a lot of things, from editing the website, organising the christmas party, heading the fundraising team, searching for funding, completing grant applications, organising external training.   In fact she will turn her hand to most things, but as yet we have been unable to persuade her to get behind the desk and take a show!

Helen has been with Gravity since 2007 and was one of the founding directors who helped to secure the full time licence.   Helen enjoys the countryside and has a great love of animals.   She has been involved in supporting many community organisations over the years and was proud to receive the prestigious UK Catalyst Award from the Prime Minister in 2008.   At present she is studying in her last year of a three year part time degree with Leicester University in voluntary sector management.
